Button badges are compact visual objects with a metal shell, a printed face protected by clear film and a pin fitting on the back. They work equally well for artists, associations, events, independent labels, exhibitions and private celebrations.
Modern button badges grew from late nineteenth-century manufacturing: a printed paper design was pressed onto a metal shell, protected by a transparent film and fitted with a pin. The same simple construction later became part of political campaigning, music merchandising and personal style.
Every paid design is checked by a person before production. The editor shows the bleed, wrap and safe design areas so that important text and artwork remain visible after the printed sheet is formed around the shell.
